Having two steady penpals in Texas, i was worried about them a bit during May, when it was the flood and tornado outbreak, now it is over, but i have a card as a reminder [even though it sent on June, way later]. I've received postcards which were wet during their travel before - from Brazil and Hong-Kong, - and every time it was indeed a story on the postcard.
First - you can see the damage on the frontside - almost 2/3 of postcard got completely wet at some point, even someone else's handwriting got printed, not Cathy's and it is in English so i suppose it might have happened in the US postman bag. Secondly, the background on the postcard [the picture is wonderful mean cats from my second profile wishlist btw] looks like the cracks appeared after the damage, but they were there printed all the time. Third - the backside is readable, but illustrate why i avoid using gel ink pens - text is almost gone, washed off.
frontside and backside, received from beesknees, USA (direct swap)
