Industrial postcards also have special place in my postcrossing heart. Left one is Olkiluoto Nuclear Power Plant, the sender used to work there, it is one of two Finnish nuclear power plants: one made using Western reactors (the postcard one - PWR and BWR), one made using Russian reactors (Loviisa Nuclear Power Plant with VVER). Right one is Békésszentandrási Duzzasztó, photo by B.&B. Szarvas, famous Hungarian Dam on Hármas-Körös river [and sender thinks the postcard is ugly as hell - all the better for me xD].

This postcard required some intense investigating googling to find which exactly power plant it is. The text on the backside just said 'View inside the left-bank power plant', i google searched the postcard picture by image, no results, only general wikipedia Hydroelectricity article and references to Scottish Hydroelectric plants, but mine is Chinese. Searching inside views of Chinese power plants revealed that the postcard is the tallest Dam in the World - Three Gorges Dam, one of the power plants on river Yangtze [17 facts about Three Gorges Dam, UK Dailymail article, Three Gorges Dam on internationalrivers.org].
By the way, as addition to the topic: the collection of hydro-electrical stations, nuclear plants and dams of ntk_kak - i couldn't imagine so many of such postcards exist.
